About Buckle
Buckle was founded in 1922 in Surry Hills, NSW by Sandy Buckle, his son Alick, and Alick’s best friend Lawford Richardson.
Buckle belts are carefully handmade in their production facility located in Stanmore, Sydney by a team of 13 skilled craftspeople, some of whom have been with Buckle for over 25 years. They are recognised and accredited by Ethical Clothing Australia, which means that their locally produced items are ethically produced to the highest standards. Buckle is audited annually by the TCF Union to ensure compliance in this area.
Leather sourced is a by-product of the meat industry.
